Normally done by apparel importers, pre-classification allows all the new-season styles to be classified by style number, in one session. This allows you to know your duty rates for each garment, and determine your landed cost more accurately.

Insurance/Bond Services

Most shipments require the importer to have a Customs bond in place. The bond is required by Customs to protect the revenue of the U.S.A. We make getting a bond easy.

PMS Duty Payments

Duties on any entries cleared between the first and the last day of the month are paid on the 15th working day of the following month, so you can get up to 45 days credit from U.S. Customs.

Binding Ruling Requests

Only U.S. Customs in New York can provide a written, binding tariff number. Trans-Union, as well as the local commodity specialists, can provide only advisory tariff numbers. We can prepare and submit ruling requests on your behalf. Having a binding ruling prevents the local commodity specialist from changing your tariff number halfway through your import season.

Importer Security Filings (10+2)
